Honestly, this was so hard for me to feel finished with, because I didn’t feel like I was doing us ladies a big enough service. I’m a very low-maintenance *basic* chick, and I just don’t want to let you down with these recs!!! So – here’s to hoping you can find at least one thing to add to your own wish list… or for anyone out there personally shopping this guide, hopefully the women you’re shopping for will come back to thank me later.

- A Plant!! ($30-120) – Every lady wants to be a plant lady. And a new house plant is always fun and exciting. I’ve loved using Lively Root to purchase plants online in the past. They do a really great job wrapping it up and protecting it for it’s journey. They also have an excellent selection of plants with extremely detailed care instructions, which I very much appreciate as a wannabe plant lady. You can use my code ZOECORINNE15OFF for extra 15% off at checkout. The plant in the collage above is the burgundy rubber tree!
- A sewing machine ($220) – Intimidating, I know. Would only recommend buying this if you’ve had a conversation with the receiver as to whether or not this would excite her at all. lol. I’ve been mulling with the idea of attempting to re-learn the skill so I can start making some clothes for myself, or Ellis… you could always peek at FB Marketplace for a used one, as well! Here is a slightly cheaper model, but another great beginning machine, you could consider as well.
- Summer Fridays Skincare Set ($44…but $87 value) – A great set!
- Cordless Hand Mixer ($84) – I didn’t realize I wanted a cordless hand mixer until I saw that it existed… and then I realized the genius behind the concept!!! If you have ever attempted to bake with a standard hand mixer, you know the annoyance that dang cord brings! Our 8-year-old hand mixer is literally on it’s death bed and I don’t necessarily want to invest in a large stand mixer I don’t have any room for… so this one looked like a great upgrade. And it’s cordless!!! Did I mention that already?!
- Black Chelsea Boots ($170) – These are a really popular pick this year, I know. You’ve probably seen them everywhere. I’ve been influenced… take it or leave it. I ended up buying this more affordable pair ($69!) for myself this year and I’m LOVING them so far.
- White Sneakers ($65) – I got these last year and really love them for everyday use. If you’re wanting more of a slip-on style, I’d recommend these. Almost twice as much, but probably more durable? I’ve heard Rothy’s hold up extremely well and are completely washable.
- Luggage ($220) – It’s time for us to get a new set of luggage… the large size in particular. These are pretty and have great reviews. That’s all I could ask for.
- Dae Hair Oil ($36) – Buy it and thank me later. It’s so, so good. Also their hair brush. You can get 25% off your order of $85+ on their website during their Black Friday sale!
- Golden Coil Custom Planner (starting at $60) – The most beautiful, completely customizable planner you have ever seen. They have thought of every single tiny detail you could ever imagine for a notebook. Calendars, notes, lists, graphs, on and on… just go look. Go make a practice planner just for fun and just SEE how incredible this thing is. Such a great gift for the busy lady in your life. Buy the gift card for her to make her own – she will love it so much. OH! And I just saw that their Black Friday Sale starts today!!! Use code BLACKFRIDAY for 15% off orders (excluding gift cards…) Runs through Nov 19.
- Stanley Quencher Tumbler ($40) – The cup of all cups. The one that sells out in minutes. The one most everyone already has, but can never have enough of? Literally the best and safest gift you could give someone. Even if they already have one in their hand, they will smile so big seeing you gift them another one. It’s some weird cult thing that I’m now a part of and pulling you into…so you’re welcome. Limited colors also sold through Williams Sonoma!
- June Rings (starting at $200) – A beautiful small women-owned ring shop. I loved the look of this Triple Band – it’s a pretty penny, but could be a beautiful, unique gift for a glam lady in your life. I have it on my list because I lost my wedding ring a few years back and still have yet to get a replacement… I love the look of just a simple band, and this one caught my eye. But there are so many stunning pieces on their site. Worth a look.
- Adjustable Pillow ($144 for 2) – OMG I LOVE THIS PILLOW SO MUCH. I was in DIRE need of a new pillow last year and this was one my top 3 gift items. I love the idea of investing in a nice pillow where you can adjust the filler to your liking. This one has the best reviews again and again… and they’re running a black friday sale right now… so… ADD TO CART! Thank me later.
I wanted to also include a few non-physical gift ideas you could consider…
- Hire a professional house cleaner to come do a deep clean. If you’re anything like us, now that we have a kid, I literally have zero time or energy to thoroughly clean almost anything in our house anymore. We’re really good at picking up messes and doing a fine top layer cleaning job around the house… but I literally have to stop myself from dwelling on the layer of grime that is building up in all the untouched corners of every room. Hire the cleaning service. Maybe go all out and hire her for a once a month cleaning for the next year?!?
- Fly her best friend, sister, mom, whoever- into town for a few days. Or, if you’re really feeling crazy, fly her out to one of them for a solo getaway from you and any potential kids?! I’m not at that stage of motherhood yet, so I let the people come to me 😉 Even better if you line it up during a time where you know she’s planning to be alone at the house. Nate went on a week-long golf trip this last summer and some of my best friends were nice enough to fly in to hang with me and help with Ellis. It was so amazing.
- An experience gift is always fun! If you’re not sure what artist she may be excited to see, choose a show based on the venue! Here in Nashville, I know that any show at The Ryman is going to be incredible. Maybe there is a similar spot in your town – where you can also count on a great performance? I’ve also seen a lot of people posting about the Van Gogh Exhibit coming through town all over the U.S. It looks incredible and could be a great little gift to give as a nice date night! I’d act fast on it, though, because it’s looking like tickets are going fast. The next availability here isn’t until mid-January!
- Book her some laser hair removal? I’d suggest only doing this if you have heard her complain about shaving and how often she has to do it/how long it takes…rather than for your own preference/desire 😉 Lol. I would love to get this done on certain areas… but you also can’t be breastfeeding/pregnant. So… plan accordingly. Also – do your research on clinics that offer this. You want this done right if you’re going to spend the money on it.
Welp – I’m praying I did a decent enough job with this one. It was tough. Good luck and good night, folks!
